I Just Read: Heads or Tails by Lilli Carré

Lilli Carré draws short stories about the mutability of shape and circumstance. Many of the pieces in Heads or Tails resemble the sort of magical realism lite that has overrun the contemporary prose short story, but Carré has a versatile, confident line that gives her stories texture and substance. This is very good, basically. (Imagine shamelessly nicked from LilliCarre.com.)
